Rare celestial event viewed in Balangir
Balangir: Citizens
of Balangir on Wednesday witnessed a rare celestial phenomenon — the transit of
Venus. The Bigyan Chetana Manch opened two camps, one at the Government
bus-stand and another at the Gandhi Pathagar to facilitate the viewing of the
event till 10 in the morning. Several people viewed it through Sun filter.
