67 TAKEN ILL AFTER EATING BUNDI IN B’NGIR

At least 67 people, including 24 children, were taken ill after consuming Bundi during the immersion of a Ganesh idol at Tentelkhunti village under Muribahal block in Balangir district on Tuesday.

With complaints of vomiting and dysentery, they were soon rushed to the Titilagarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. While 20 people were discharged after primary treatment, others, including the children, were still undergoing treatment. However, their conditions were stable, said hospital sources.
