In a
significant development from agriculture point of view Bolangir district
received widespread rainfall on 10thJuly2014
throughout the district.In Bolangir
45mm rainfall was recorded.This would go way long way in providing life saving
water to whatever standing crop in the filed .If such
rainfall occurs continuously hence forth, paddy cultivation work would resume.Due to
absence of rainfall,agriculture operations,especially paddy cultivation was taken up in 20% land --
