MP SEEKS RS 400 CR

Ahead of the presentation of the Railway
Budget, Balangir MP Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo has demanded that the Union
Government allocate at least Rs 400 crore for the Khordha-Balangir rail line
construction work.
The MP also demanded opening of a railway wagon factory at
Kantabanji to boost local economic development and employment opportunities to
local youth and a direct train from Balangir to Delhi, besides demanding
extension of the Ispat Express train to Kantabanji and a direct express train
to Allahabad from Balangir He also demanded installation of coach indicators at
the Balangir railway station and the station’s upgradation.
