SIX INJURED IN BEAR ATTACK IN BALANGIR

At
least six persons of Gadgabahal village in Muribahal block sustained injuries
when they were attacked by a bear in the forest adjacent to the village on
Sunday morning. One of the victims sustained serious injuries and is undergoing
treatment at the Titilagarh Hospital.
“I have sent forest
staffs to the spot and they are keeping a watch on the movement of the bear.
The bear appears to be an aged one and is moving inside the Chitadunguri
mountain jungle,” said Balangir DFO Abhiram Nayak to this correspondent over
phone.
