Meher, an ANM working at the Jogimunda Health Sub-Centre under the Ghasian CHC,
received the Florence Nightingale Award, 2014 from President Pranab Mukherjee
recently.Villagers under the banner of Jthe ogimunda Anchalika Sachetan Manch
gave Meher a warm reception on her return from New Delhi on Wednesday.CDMO Dr
Vikrant Kindo praised her effort and hard work and urged all other ANMs to emulate
Padmabati.“I am extremely happy to get the Florence Nightingale Award from the
President. If other ANM and health workers dedicatedly perform their duties
they can also bring laurels for themselves and the region. I will do my work
more dedicatedly,” Meher said.
