Balangir In a unique  show,farmers of Jamutbahal inGaisilletblock(Bargarh district)observed mass  Akshya Tritiya togetheron 2^nd May2014 and they resolved to protect ,preserve and promote Traditional paddy seeds which is becoming extinct gradually.Sanatanu Singh ,president of DesiBihan SurakshyaSamiti first worshipped mother earth and started Akhi Muthi-the first seed to be sown. Later on a total of 30 pairs of bullocks congregated there from Jamutbahal, Jadamunda, Gondpali, Sandhibahal Dhauraakhaman villages in the presence of Siba prasadSahu ,Mukhi Meher and other ploughed the land and the farmers gathered there  resolved to preserve, protect  and popularize desi paddy(traditional paddy )  cultivation in their area .
