I was awarded the Trophy for "Excellence in Journalism" by noted Columnist Sri Shivaji Sarkar,in the presence of Editor in Chief -of The Pioneer,Dr Chandan Mitra ,Editor of The Industry and Mines Observer (IMO) Sri Sirish Mohanty on June19,2012.

The Annual general body meeting of Balangir Chamber of Commerce was held on13th April 2013 evening. Finance Minister Sri Prasanna Acharya was Chief guest and Bolangir MP Kalikesh Narayan Singhdeo joined as Guest of Honour and Arbind Das was Chief speaker
