“HUMAN CHAIN”  IN BOLANGIR DEMANDING SETTING UP AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITY

BOLANGIR;  Demanding  for setting up an agriculture university in Bolangir, people, college students ,representatives of different organisations of the town, participated in the human chain held in Bolangir today morning ,which started from main Post office to government Bus stand .

We are staging the human chain to press for fulfilment of our demand for  setting up an agriculture University in Bolangir. Ever since merger of Bolangir in “OdishaState” we have been losing a lot. All the major institutions are being set up outside Bolangir. It is satisfying that today, people cutting across political line  have come out in support of the demand for setting up an agriculture university here, says Promod Mishra of KrishiVishwaVidyalaya Kriyanusthan committee .

Unless the government fulfil our demand we would intensify the agitation in future and a delegation would go to Bhubneshwar to meet the Chief Minister NaveenPattnaik  on this issue,Mishra says further.

It would be pertinent to mention here that few days ago  Bolangir MP  Kalikesh Narayan Singhdeo met  NaveenPattnaik and submitted the demand of Bolangir people to set up the agriculture university in Bolangir.Besides MPKalikeshSingdeo Rajya SabhaMember,AU Singhdeo,Bolangir MLA NarsinghaMishra, LoisinghaMLA Yogendra Behera, Titilagrah MLA Smt Tukuni Sahu,and Kantabanji MLA  AYubKhan has also demanded setting up agriculture University in Balangir on several occasions earlier.
