B’NGIR BAR ASSN TO
HOLD PLATINUM JUBILEE
The 75-year-old Balangir District Bar
Association will celebrate its platinum jubilee on January 10 and 11.
The association had been formed in 1938 with founder members
including late Kapileshwar Prasad Nanda, late Ajodhya Dash, late Dharma Chand
Gupta and late Gobindra Chandra Mishra. This was announced to the media
association president Pramod Kumar Tripathy here on Wednesday evening. During
the jubilee celebrations, the association members who have completed 50 years
of practice would be felicitated. Leader of Opposition in State Assembly and
Balangir MLA Narasingha Mishra, is the Chairman of the Platinum Jubilee
Celebration Committee. Several other committees have been formed to make the
celebrations successful, Tripathy said.
