Dear all
The forthcoming General Election -2014 has given an opportunity to cast our Right to Vote and select/elect the candidates who has lived upto expectation/fulfilled his promise/or considered the best among the contestant.
If you(voter) don't like ant of the contestants in the Assembly and Parliament constituency then there is an option NOTA -Non of the Above symbol and by voting there registering your "protest vote".In the earlier general election there was no such facility.

For the first time, the EC will
provide "none of the above" (NOTA) button on electronic voting
machines (EVMs). "On the balloting unit, below the name of the last
candidate, there will now be a button for NOTA option so that electors who do
not want to vote for any of the candidates can exercise this option by pressing
the button against NOTA.
