BALANGIR LS SEAT TO WITNESS CLOSE TRIANGULAR FIGHT

Like 2009 elections, the Balangir Parliamentary constituency is all set to witness a close triangular fight in the upcoming general elections. Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo (BJD), Sarat Pattnaik (Congress) and Sangeeta Singh Deo (BJP) are going to contest from the seat.

 In 2009, Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo won the seat defeating Congress candidate Narasingha Mishra andBJP’s Sangeeta Singh Deo emerged third. As incumbent MP Kalikesh and Sangeeta Singh Deo, who has already won the seat for three times, and senior Congress leader Pattnaik are in the fray this time, a close triangular fight is expected, say political analysts.
