Center to
set up Government Medical college in
Balangir .

The Central
government has decided to set up a government medical college in Balangir and
state government has also given its consent for this .IT would be at the same
place where the medical college was constructed earlier and the Balangir
district administration has identified 25 acres of land there for medical
college. This was announced to media men at a news conference here by senior
congress leader Sri Narsingh Mishra today. The Center would bear 75% of the
total cost and state government would bear the rest 25% cost ,besides 25 acre
of land to be given by the state government for this medical college, Mishra
said further.
