Balangir town citizens demand bypass'; Balangir: Members of the Balangir Action Committee led by Gopalji Panigrahi, Santosh Pradhan and Nilamani Mishra and supported by other organisations of the town on Friday staged a dharna before the district Collectorate here demanding construction of a bypass or a ring road to ease the growing traffic congestion and avert accidents in the town. “Unless the Government takes suitable steps within a month, we will intensify the agitation further,” said committee president Gopalji Panigrahi. A memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister was submitted through the district administration.
