After a brief lull, members of the Lower Suktel Budi Anchal Sangram Parishad on Friday=took out a motorcycle procession from the Samleshwari Temple here to the Banadurga Temple at Magurbeda opposing the construction of a dam over Lower Suktel river and protesting against the atrocities by the district administration on those opposing the dam.

The protesters later held a public meeting at Pardihapali and Gadshankar-Dunguripali villages.

In the forthcoming days, a Padayatra would be undertaken in 30 villages opposing the construction of the Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, informed Satya Banchhor of the Lower Suktel Action Committee to this correspondent.
