BONDED LABOURERS HOLD DHARNA IN BALANGIR

Members
of the Jan Jagaran Dadan Sangh led by its president Khagapati Kumbhar launched
a two-day dharna before district Collectorate here on Wednesday demanding
immediate payment of money promised to be released to labourers under the
Bonded Labour (Abolition) Act.
The Sangh members also
demanded rehabilitation and inclusion of bonded labourers in social security
schemes, inclusion of bonded labourers in the district level bonded labour
monitoring committee and enrolment of bonded labourers’ children in residential
schools.
