B’ngir YC seeks CBI probe into chit fund scam

Balangir: Youth Congress members of the Balangir Lok Sabha Constituency unit led by its president Aakash Mishra, Balangir DCC president Bhagaban Bagarti, Mahila Congress president Renuka Patra, Hemanta Panda and Pandav Kumbhar on Tuesday staged a dharna before the district Collectorate here demanding a CBI inquiry into the chit fund scams and arrest of the ruling BJD MLAs and Ministers allegedly involved in it. A case should also be filed against the Chief Minister in this connection, said Aakash Mishra. The agitators also slammed the Naveen Patnaik Government for poor governance and deteriorating law and order. They submitted a three-point memorandum to the Governor through district administration.
