MOTORBIKE PATROLLING INTRODUCED IN BALANGIR

After two years of introduction of PCR van patrolling, the Balangir police have started motorcycle patrolling in the town area recently. Police personnel are now moving in eight bikes in different streets and residential areas where the PCR vans cannot reach easily.
It has been learnt that the PCR van service came as a big help for the denizens of Balangir during last year. It has not only reached crime spots but also taken people meeting accidents to hospitals for treatment. The introduction of motorbike patrolling would certainly be of more help to people, said a senior citizen.
