13 SONEPUR LABOURERS RESCUED

The Patnagarh police rescued 13 migrant labourers, including three children, of Subarnapur district from Kadalimunda village while they were being taken to a brick kiln of Talcher on Saturday night.
According to reports, one Bansidhar Bag of Kadalimunda was taking these labourers to Talcher for a contractor. The labourers had been staying in the village for last two days. The contractor had earlier contacted a migrant labour leader of Kapani village under Belpada block to get him these labourers but he refused to do so.
The Patnagarh police has registered a case and detained a person in this connection, informed Patnagargh PS OIC RK Patra.
