18 NUAPDA LABOURERS RESCUED

A day after rescuing 13 Subarnapur migrant labourers, the Patnagarh police rescued another group of 18 migrant labourers belonging to Chata village under Nuapada district’s Komna police station on Monday evening.
The labourers were to be taken to brick kilns of Andhra Pradesh.
“We raided a house in Karlamal village and rescued 18 migrant labourers. We have arrested one person in this connection after registering a case,” said Patnagarh PS OIC RK Patra. Sources said the labourers were kept in house of one Narahari Kumbhar in Karlamal village.
