TWO DIE WHILE COMING
TO VOTE IN B’NGIR

Two persons died while going to cast their
votes in Balangir district on Thursday. The incidents apparently took place due
to intense heat.Sources said a 70-year-old woman, Dhira Bag, collapsed 100
metre from the booth and died on the spot while she was coming to cast her vote
at Khujenpali village.“I have ordered an inquiry into this incident after
getting reports from media and waiting for the probe report,” said Deputy
Collector Anita Panda.In the other incident, Keshab Putel (55) also collapsed
and died at Pandamunda village in Patnagarh block while he was standing in a
queue to cast his vote at the booth.
