Stating that
the suspension of BJP State executive member Ajay Das from the party is
arbitrary, a section of party workers on Tuesday urged party State president KV
Singh Deo to withdraw the suspension soon.
A Press release signed
by Santosh Kumar Bhola, Lalatendu Pattnaik and many others stated that while
many other BJP leaders have allegedly given anti-party statements, no action
has been taken against them. The workers decried the double standards and
autocratic action of the State party leadership and alleged that the suspension
of Das is nothing but to cover up the poor performance of the party in the
recent ULB debacle.They also threatened to resign from the party if the party
fails to withdraw suspension on Das with immediate effect.
