Titilagarh Municipalities will go to polls on Tuesday.Voting for the 21-Ward
Balangir Municipality and the 15-Ward Titilagarh Municipality will take place
between 8 am and 5 pm.
While 50 polling booths of Balangir have been
identified as sensitive and 14 as hypersensitive, all the polling booths in
Titlagarh have been declared as sensitive.
While 14 platoons of police have been deployed
in Titlagarh, one platoon has been deployed in Balangir.
All the major political parties — the BJD, the
Congress and the BJP — are contesting the polls in both civic bodies with
several prominent leaders of the parties having campaigned for their candidates.
