FILM ‘AADIM VICHAR’
SCREENED AT BALANGIR

The screening of Indian Panorama award-winning movie Aadim
Vichar (The Ancient Justice), directed by filmmaker Sabyasachi Mohaptra was
held here on Sunday evening. The movie, which has been extensively filmed in
the tribal areas of Boudh and in Sonepur, stresses on the need for an
optimistic attitude to tackle any kind of crisis. The film depicts the
optimistic attitude of a tribal old man Sukru Majhi (84), who is ready to face
any kind of crisis with a positive and humanitarian approach and how his
judgment is better than educated people.
“The character in the film has shown how an optimistic and
positive attitude with a human perspective and his ancient justice full of
human values can tackle any crisis in life and eventually emerging the winner
in all critical situation,” said Director Mohapatra.
Leader of Opposition in Assembly Narasingha Mishra lauded the
achievement of filmmaker Mohaptra and wished him success. The screening of film
was witnessed by many people and attended by all the artists of the film,
including producers and camera man.
