‘NO COURT, NO VOTE’ RALLY HELD AT BALANGIR

Members of
the Balangir Bar Association supported by other organisations and political
parties on Saturday took out a procession in the town urging people to boycott
the elections to the urban local bodies in the district.
Raising the
slogan “No court, no vote”, the lawyers and other participants in the rally
said no elections should be held until a permanent Bench of the Odisha High
Court is set up at Balangir.They urged people to boycott
the scheduled municipal elections and support the High Court Bench
demand.
