The Kosal agitation is going on slowly here. We do not find
involvement of women, lecturers and students in Kosal movement, said
spokesperson for Telangana Joint Action Committee and State president of
Telangana Lecturers’ Forum Dr K Venkatswamy.
“We fought for a separate Telagnana in a democratic way. We would
share our experience and propel the stir here,” he said. Venkatswamy, who
was at an ideological camp of Kosal State Coordination Committee to impart
training to members, said this to the mediapersons here.
The agitation for
separate Kosal State has entered 18th year .The process to start caderisation
of Kosal movement has begun. To build up more cadres and make them self-
sufficient, we have invited leaders of agitations in other States and in this
process, leaders from Telengana have arrived today, said All Kosal State
Coordination Committee president Promod Mishra.
In forthcoming days, leaders from different agitations would be
invited, Mishra added.
Asked to comment on the shortcomings of less participation of
students, women and other category of people in the Kosal agitation as pointed
out by Prof Venkatswamy, Mishra said it was just the beginning. “We are on the
process to organize training camps in block level to build up cadres for the
agitation for a separate Kosal State,” he said.
