Members of the Kosal Yuba Chhatra Samanwaya Samiti led by
Dolamani Pradhan and Rabi Mishra staged a protest meeting against the reported
remark of BJD MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain on Brajarajnagar MLA Radharani Panda
and burnt the effigy of Swain at the Collectorat here on Friday.
“Three MLAs of our area, Naba Das, Subal Sahu and
Radharani Panda had raised the Kosal issue in the State Assembly on August 26
the day we observed Kosal Bandh. Swain made derogatory remarks against
Radharani Panda. We condemn it. We demand separate Kosal State under Article 2
and 3 of the Constitution,” said Pradhan.
