Local Self-Government Day observed in B'gir
Balangir: The Local
Self-Government Day was observed in Balangir district on Monday. A meeting was
held at the Town Hall, where district Collector M Muthukumar was the chief
guest. Balangir SP Dr Deepak Kumar, Sub-Collector Bimal Prasad Mohanty and DRDA
Project Director Rajendra Pattnaik were the guests of honour. Balangir
Municipality Chairperson Santosini Behera, Executive Officer Jayant Parida and
Vice-Chairman Lipishri Sai spoke on the occasion. The speakers stressed on the
need for a better and clean Balangir.
