NO SCHOOL BUILDING DESPITE FUNDS IN B’NGIR

The members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by
Ajaya Das staged a demonstration before the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan office
demanding action against the teacher responsible for an incomplete school
building in Biaspur Baoudiapali village in Dhandamunda panchayat in Deogaon
block.
Even though Rs 8.20 lakh was sanctioned for
construction of the school building in that village, till today only lintel
level construction has been completed, they charged. As such, the students are
reading under the open sky.
The work order has been issued in the name of
Dinesh Nag of Gambharimal School. And the teacher has withdrawn Rs 6 lakh for
nconstruction of roof of school building six months ago. However till
today it is lintel stage up to which the
construction has gone and the students are reading in open space. “We demand
action against the teacher and early completion of school building,” said Ajaya
Das of AAP.
