OMOA’S STIR FROM AUG 19 BEFORE ASSEMBLY

of the Odisha Ministerial Officers’ Association (OMOA) will stage a dharna
before the State Assembly on August 19 and 20, pressing for a slew of demands.The demands include enhancement of pay of junior clerk, senior
clerk, head clerk and change of the British style designation of ‘Clerk’ to
Executive Assistant and Head Assistant.
This
was announced to mediapersons on Sunday by OMOA president Satrughna Panigrahi.
If both the demands of the association are fulfilled by the Government, it
would have marginal financial burden on the State exchequer, Panigrahi said.
