In
the on-going PLG Martyrs’ Week since July 28, observed by the Maoists across
the State, Balangir SP Deepak Kumar received a letter of the ultras on
Wednesday warning him of dire consequences.
According
to reports, the Maoists have held him responsible for death of a cadre Goutam
Bag and have threatened the SP to punish him. When contacted, SP Deepak Kumar
said, “All the people who are against their ideology, the Maoists consider them
as their enemies and since they don’t believe in democracy, they consider
entire bureaucracy to be their enemies.”
