Former Sambalpur MP
Bhabani Shankar Hota, while describing the Railway Budget as a “disappointing
one for Odisha, sarcastically remarked, “The Railways’ new slogan should be
‘Rae Barelie is India and India is Rae Barelie.’”
Hota said the much-awaited Khurda-Balangir railway line “is
again put on slow motion” due to a paltry allocation of funds. Besides, the
Bargarh-Nuapada railway line has been put on “cold storage”.
