B’ngir forest staff wear black
badges
Balangir: Members of Odisha Non-Gazetted Forest Service
Association protested against the Government by putting black badges. They
demanded enhancement in pay scale of forester and forest guard as per
recommendation of sixth pay commission, regularisation of contractual forester
and forest guards and post upgradation for forest guards, forester and deputy
ranger. They submitted a memorandum to CM through the Dist Collector and
threatened to hold an indefinite stir before the Divisional Forest Office from February
22.
