Balangir celebrates Home Guards Day
Balangir: The 50th annual Home Guards Day was observed here on Tuesday with district SP Balangir Awinash Kumar taking salute of the parade. He lauded the crucial role of the Home Guards in maintaining law and order, traffic, night patrolling and natural calamities. They are also in forefront in tackling the Maoists in Khaprakhol and Tureikela blocks of the district.
