Rotavirus Vaccine formally introduced in B’ngir

Balangir: District Collector of Balangir M Mutukumar formally launched the introduction of Rotavirus Vaccine in the district here on Wednesday. Due to Rotavirus, that causes diarrohoea, around 40,000 children die in the country every year, he said. The vaccine would be available in all Government hospitals and help prevent diarrohoea-related deaths, said Dr Sugyanendra Misha. CDMO Dr RN Tripathy also spoke.
