The
first Radha Charan Mishra Memorial lecture on ‘Distress migration in Balangir’
was organised at the Sambadik Bhavan here on Sunday.
The lecture was organised
to pay tribute to Radha Charan Mishra on his first death anniversary. Balangir
MP Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo paid rich tributes to late Mishra.

Barik, senior lawyer Jayakrushna Sahu, journalists Birendra Jhankar and Sudhir
Mishra and noted columnist Harihara Mishra (Mumbai) spoke on various aspects of
migration of labourers in Balangir. They opined that a concerted effort should
be taken by the district administration to resolve the problem of the
district.
